Charcoal Roasting Spit - Electric Spindle.

Maximum Weight - 30kg.

Dimension - 132cm x 57cm.  

Fuel not included.  3 x 4kg bags of charcoal and 2 x 4kg of heat beads.  These are available to purchase from us - please let your event consultant know.   

Must be returned clean or $30 charge applies.   

Slow roasted meat on a charcoal spit is always a crowd pleaser.  This is a great way to prepare great tasting food for a crowd and requires very little attention while cooking.  We recommend that you take the spit spindle to your butcher to be secured.  Your butcher can also advise cooking times for the meat that they are providing, however, here is a guide.  

Lamb     -     30 mins per kilo 

Pork      -      25 mins per kilo 

Beef     -       20 mins per kilo 

Chicken -     45 mins per kilo.  

It's important to note that cooking meat on a spit is not an exact science.  Cooking time will depend on the weight and also the diameter of your meat. The weather conditions can also affect cooking time.
